Minnesota Special Hockey is looking for a volunteer to fill the Ice Coordinator position on its Board of Directors. The position is a 3-year term and begins after being voted in at the annual meeting on July 28, 2024.
Minnesota Special Hockey relies on its volunteers, all board positions are working positions and are very important in the successful operation of Minnesota Special Hockey. Ice Schedule Coordinator
The Ice Coordinator coordinates the ice schedule for all MN Special Hockey practices, games and jamborees. Responsibilities include completing the game/jamboree schedule, working with each team ice coordinator to secure ice and coordinating ice for practices and games, assisting in rescheduling or sharing ice as needed, posting team ice schedule on the calendars, and helping team coordinators obtain ice for a new team.

MSH is offering Summer Hockey Clinics for Special Hockey registered players. These are skill based, skating, passing, and shooting drills. Each session might end with some sort of a game, but more than likely will not be a typical scrimmage. Cost of attending any or all of the clinic sessions is $40.
Registrants will receive a clinic jersey highlighting fantastic sponsors. The deadline to register and receive a jersey in time for the Lakeville clinic has passed. Players who register by Wednesday, September 18th will receive a jersey for the St. Louis Park clinic. Information on the St. Cloud clinic will be coming soon. The jerseys are handed out at the clinic.
Lakeville Clinic at Hasse Arena (Rink 2) - Sundays, August 4th - August 25th at 11:15.
St. Louis Park Clinic at SLP Rec Center (West Rink) - Sundays, October 6th - 27th at 10:30 or 11:30 depending on Skill Level.

A reminder that starting August 1st, USA Hockey is requiring all players aged 17 and under to wear neck laceration protection (neck guards or shirts), except for authorized and approved exemptions. Neck guards are strongly recommended for players aged 18 and over. Minnesota Special Hockey follows all rules and recommendations set forth by USA Hockey.
